John Houbeck ‘16, Josh Bilski ‘16-Playing L’Anse Creuse tomorrow night in the annual Watchdog game, the football team looks defeat the the Lancers, as well as cancer.
Raising $355,000 in the past 6 years, the community seeks to reach their goal of $400,000 by the end of Friday night. All ticket, parking, concession, and t-shirt sales go directly towards charity.
Attempting to carry their momentum from last week’s 49-7 victory over Henry Ford II, the Bulldogs strive to stay unbeaten against the Lancers.
Following a week four loss against Macomb Dakota, the Lancers come into week five with no intentions of going down easy. At 1-3, L’Anse Creuse attempts to bounce back up against the dogs, in the Watchdog showdown at Dan Barnabo Stadium.
Adding a completely different feel to the game this year, the community teamed up with the Believe Foundation. The Believe Foundation donated a new item to this year’s game, the Curable Towel. This towel fundraise made appearances at sporting events at all levels. The first 100 students receive this towel for free, and the rest can be purchased in the stadium. All proceeds from the Curable Towel go back to the Believe Foundation, which then go to a fundraiser of their choice.
Come out and support our Bulldogs and cancer research tomorrow night at 7:00!
