Joshua Bilski ‘16: Both coming off big victories in the Michigan high school volleyball playoffs, the Bulldogs and the Traverse City West Titans battle for a spot in the next round tonight at Midland High School at 7 pm.

Finishing off of a three game sweep over Davison, the Titans own an overall record of 26-12. Michigan State Commit, Olivia Bishop ’16 lead Traverse City West all season, and looks to guide her team to victory against Romeo.

“This game means a lot to all of us,” Lindsay Weber ‘18 said “We hope to repeat what we did last year and win another state championship.”

After a thrilling win over Utica Eisenhower in five games, the Bulldogs attempt to carry their hot streak into the Quarterfinals game against the Titans. The girls come in with a 46-7-1 overall record this season, also boasting an unbeaten 10-0 league record. Recently announced Miss Volleyball, Gia Milana ’16 leads the team in kills with 852. Also Breanna Olley ’16 leads the team with 987 assists.

The winner of this quarterfinals matchup takes on the victor of the Livonia Churchill vs. Monroe game, Thursday night in the semifinals.
