Chase Arendts ’17-Facing off against Marysville High School Thursday, varsity volleyball defeated the Vikings three sets to one. The team played well together, facing adversity without becoming discouraged.

“I felt a feeling of excitement coming into this game,” Payton Klein ‘17 said. “I knew something big was about to happen and it felt great coming away with the win.”

Leading the Bulldogs in assists, Breanna Olley ‘16 finished with 32. Gia Milana ‘16 finished with 26 kills, topping the team. Contributing to the cause, Erica Labaere ‘16 killed 10 shots, Jodie Kelly ‘17 executed nine kills, and Payton Klein ‘17 finished with seven.

Improving to 28-4-1 overall, volleyball remains undefeated in the Mac Red, 6-0.

The ladies play Saturday at a tournament in Oxford, and will resume league play against Dakota High School this upcoming Monday.
