The Romeo Volleyball team improved to 15-2-1 yesterday with an impressive win against a tough Stevenson team. The team showed dominance early, winning the first three out of five games. Romeo was led by senior Karlie Kelly who had 17 kills with 6 aces, sophomore Gia Milana had 12 kills, while Biz Betzing produced 5 aces. “It was a really big team win against Stevenson they are a big rivalry for us, so it felt good that everyone contributed to that win.” said senior Jodie Bosheers. The Bulldogs are now 2-0 in conference play. It looks as though the team is going to be a conference contender in the MAC White. With only 8 more division games to go the Bulldogs look to keep the ball rolling. The Bulldogs take on Troy, Mercy, and Dakota in a Quad match at Troy High School on September 24th.
