Cameron Kemp ‘19: The varsity volleyball team finished their season off with a 17-23-7 overall record. They finished 1-9 in the MAC Red, which is not what the girls were expecting. Even though their league record was not promising, the girls did make it to district finals and fell to Stoney Creek in the third round.
“I thought our season was full of many ups and downs,” Madison Frick ‘18 said. “We worked with what we had and progressed a lot from the beginning to the end of the year.”
Despite the girls less than average regular season, they made a decent run in the playoffs making it to the district finals. The girls have a promising future with their young players getting key reps this year, they will become the leaders of the team in the upcoming season.
