Patrick Vinckier ‘19: Romeo volleyball dropped their match at Dakota High School on Tuesday, September 25.

“In the first set we had a lot of momentum and were fighting hard but one Dakota started getting a run we completely lost all of our energy,” Kiyah Franklin ‘21 said. “In or to win the next one, we need to focus on staying strong through the whole game and really working together as a team.”

Although the team lacked the firepower to come out on top, Franklin saw positives in the team’s loss. She also stressed the importance of team chemistry in a successful season.

On the bright side, the girls get to work on their errors with a long week of rest. They look to bounce back Thursday, October 4 when they host Grosse Pointe High School beginning at 7pm.
