Megan Doyle ‘21: Romeo volleyball dropped their match at Stevenson on Thursday, October 8th.
As Stevenson brings their “A” game, the bulldogs fight to take hold of every match. The two ended up pushing each other to a competitive five matches.
“We took them to five sets and pushed really hard when the games went past 25,” Cassidy Banach ‘22 said.
Without giving up, Romeo grasped three out of five sets. The bulldogs continued to work in order to take home the win against the Titans.
As the bulldogs strive to be the best, they grow as a team after every game. Achieving several improvements, Addison Heimbuch ‘21 reveals her strengths that she contributed to benefit the team against Stevenson.
“I shut down the biggest hitter out of the back row when we were neck and neck from a single block and it got everyone hype to win and finish out the game,” Heimbuch said.
With fierce fighting such as this, the bulldogs gain confidence and become stronger as they await their next opponent.
Now with a record of 4-2, the bulldogs prepare to grasp more wins throughout the season.
