Fighting off L’Anse Creuse, Romeo varsity baseball shutout the Lancers 4-0 this past Tuesday. Pitching for the Bulldogs was senior Tommy Schneider. Striking out three, Schneider pitched a complete game, giving up only three hits.

“I felt really good throwing,” Schneider said. “I had fun tossing a seven inning shutout.”

Driving in two runs, Chris Rashid ‘15 had two hits, one of which was a double. Rashid plays second base for Romeo. Anthony Quas ‘16 and Jake Kulczycki ‘15 each had a RBI.

“As soon as I made contact with the ball I knew I had at least a double,” Rashid said. “I was happy a could help my team win.”

With strong play, Romeo has improved their record to 3-2 this season, breaking .500.

The Bulldogs take on the Lancers again at L’Anse Creuse High School hoping to improve the series to 2-0 Romeo.
