Kenneth Borycz ‘18: What sounds more like your upcoming Spring Break? Beaches, sun, and tanning? Or your cozy bed or couch, hoping that the weather reaches 50 degrees? With break quickly approaching, almost everyone looks forward to a week of fun and relaxation. For some, it is the first taste of the fast approaching summer vacation and for others, it’s a glimpse of freedom after high school.
Romeo is no exception, students from every grade embark on unique adventures all over the world.
Several Romeo students elaborate on their Spring Break plans.
Ava Johnston ‘21:
“I am going to Naples, Florida,” Johnston said. “I’m really excited to get tan.”
Joseph Rinke ‘21:
“I am going to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida,” Rinke said. “I’m excited because I get to see the beach and the ocean and this is the second year in a row we’re going.”
Ashlyn Deleeuw ‘20:
“I am going to Riviera Maya, Mexico,” Peleeuw said. “I am really excited to see the ocean for the first time.”
Lance Garrisi ‘20:
“I am going to Pensacola Beach, Florida,” Garrisi said. “I’m excited for the beach.”
Shelby Carpenter ‘19:
“I’m going on a college tour at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.,” Carpenter said. “I’m super excited to see the school.”
Vince Cate ‘19:
“I’m going to visit my dad in Germany,” Cate said. “I’m super excited to go biking.”
Brandon Kehren ‘18:
“I’m going on a cruise to Mexico and Belize,” Kehren said. “I’m super excited for the views.”
Lexi D’Angelo ‘18:
“I’m going to Costa Rica,” D’Angelo said. “ I’m excited to go hiking in the mountains with my family.”
