Seamans ‘24: Recently, the Romeo High School student council welcomed new members to their 2021-2022 student council group. A tradition existing for decades. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors compose student council, allowing everyone to participate.

Student council Eboard member Mack McCloud ‘23 gives an insight on what the group looks for. “People who are ready to bring ideas to the table, they have a leadership mentality, are able to get together and talk, and that they have positivity,” McCloud said

Chloe Anderson ‘22, Calli Hotter ‘23, Kierra Amadeo ‘23, and Gabriella Kirsh ‘22 complete the Student Council Eboard.

Treasurer Calli Hotter loves taking part in student council. “I personally love student council because I get to have a say in some important decisions for the school that I normally wouldn’t get to,” Hotter said.

Hotter gives advice for new members. “Participate as much as you can and always try to come into meetings with new ideas,” Hotter said.

Excited to welcome new members to this year’s student council, eboard members look forward to a great year. Regarding any questions or concerns, please contact any of the eboard members above through their school email.
