Robert Gjelaj ‘19: On Tuesday, December 4, Salina Milana ‘19 officially signed her national letter of intent to play volleyball at Oakland Community College.

“I chose OCC because they have really good volleyball team and I believe the Head Coach will improve my weaknesses so I can play at a higher level,” Milana said.

The Raiders play in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association, competing against six other teams from the Eastern Conference. The teams include Schoolcraft College, Macomb Community College and Mott Community College among others.

Excited to join her new team, Milana looks forward to continuing her academic and athletic career as a Raider.

Beating Rochester Adams in the first round of districts remains Milana’s favorite memory of her high school career.

Milana plans to attend Oakland Community College and major in Chemical Engineering.

Best of luck to Salina in her future career at Oakland Community College!
