Chloe Lucci ‘19: On March 22-25, the Romeo Theater Company (RTC) presents the play, Legally Blonde. A story of a young woman, Elle Woods, who goes to Harvard for her boyfriend, but while she strides for his attention, she realizes something more important.
Everyone is working hard in rehearsals and expects the outcome of the play to be great and worth while.
“I expect the play to turn out very well, we have been putting so much work into the rehearsals and I think this will be one of our better musicals,” Lilly Behring ‘20 said. “I have three different roles. I am Courtney, who is a sales attendant, a law student, and a workout instructor.”
The play is right around the corner and students prepare by practicing lines, dancing, and singing. They also work hard to build the perfect sets for each scene of the musical.
While the play can be stressful, students enjoy being around friends that make it worth the stress.
“It is difficult to get everything done in time, but it’s nice to be around my friends and have a good time,” Jamie Patrona ‘21 said.
RTC presents and recreates the famous movie legally blonde that they worked very hard for.
