Paul Hurley ‘16 – Romeo Men’s cross country team brought home a lone star Friday night at District Championships. Adam Fraeyman ‘16, came in first place overall at the meet. Continuing Romeo’s streak of three straight years having a 1st place finisher.

This win, running a 16:04, qualifies Fraeyman for Regionals, where he fully intends to contend for another victory. While clearly a blazing fast score, he was nowhere near his best performance. Proving there is more spark left in his legs, Fraeyman is capable of running a 15:53.

“District champion was a goal for me, and it feels great to be considered best in the county. I feel as if my hard work has begun to pay off, hopefully that leads me to states,” Fraeyman said.

Fraeyman looks to continue his already accomplished career on Friday at Regional Championship. Heading to his second State competition is his goal, resulting in a qualifying time this time through.
