Alexandria Malcolm ‘17 – As Mrs. Knoblock and her cast and crew puts the finishing touches on what is set to be another fantastic musical, students and teachers alike patiently wait for them to take the stage. This spring, Romeo Theatre Company proudly presents their production of the timeless musical love story, “AIDA”.

After her and her people are taken and put to slavery to far away Egypt, Princess AIDA of Nubia lies about her identity. She is taken hostage and forced to be a slave to Princess Amneris of Egypt. But it isn’t all bad, while in Memphis she meets Captain Radames, whom she is drawn to immediately. But what will happen next? You will have to see the show to find out.

The show will run March 10th at 7pm, March 11th and 12th at 8pm and March 13th at 2pm. Tickets are now available for purchase for the weekend shows on showtix4u.com. Tickets for the school show are now available in the lobby at all lunches for $10, and will continue to be sold through next Tuesday.
The school show will be held next Wednesday, March 9th during 5th and 6th hour. If you plan on going, don’t forget to keep your tickets to turn into your teachers on Thursday. Be sure to come down and support RTC, and buy a ticket to the show!
