Megan Ferguson ‘19 and Marina Belloli ‘19: Located on the bulletin board by the lobby, Student Council created a Random Acts of Kindness Board to start the giving season. After seeing the idea online, the students decided to incorporate the idea to Romeo High School.
“We saw it on Pinterest, so the idea was already there,” Lillian Schneider ‘20 said. “We then googled a bunch of random acts of kindness to help us come up with more ideas. The whole making part of the board, like putting it up, took about an hour and a half.”
Hoping for the idea to slowly catch on, the students anticipate more projects like the Kindness Board in the future.
“Honestly we didn’t know if people were going to participate in it, but it seems people are catching on and doing it,” Kyle Szydlik ‘20 said. “We just tried to find a way to give back to the community with easy accessible and simple ways.
To participate and spread joy throughout the school, grab a random act of kindness from the board located just outside the Athletic Training Room.
