Austin Taseski ‘21: The Bulldogs faced off against the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen on Monday, September 9. 

They unfortunately lost by a final score of 2-1. 

The boys were down until Michael Trajkoski ‘20 scored on a penalty kick, tying the game with 15:00 minutes remaining. 

The Norsemen, however, answered right back with a goal of their own, putting them back on top. After 80 hard fought minutes, the Bulldogs found themselves unable to find the back of the net again, resulting in a 2-1 defeat.

Romeo took the field again, on Tuesday September 10, this time facing off against the Pilots of Warren De La Salle High School.

This game, despite being much more entertaining and high scoring, resulted in another loss for the Bulldogs. Goals scored by Michael Trajkoski ‘20, Reese Ford ‘20, and Mateo Giulianelli ‘20 made for an interesting game, however the Pilots brought their A game Tuesday, winning 5-3.

On Friday September 13, the Bulldogs took on the Fraser Ramblers.

With a delay in the first half the boys were able to keep their composure, scoring three goals from Mateo Giulianelli ‘20, Reese Ford ‘20, and Michael Trajkoski ‘20. This improves their record to 3-2 in the MAC White putting them in second place behind the Anchor Bay Tars.

“I think we are playing great and we have to keep ourselves focused because next week is where our schedule gets pretty hard,” Trajkoski said. 

Looking to bounce back from this weeks losses, Romeo starts  MAC White play next week with battles against Grosse Pointe South, Warren Cousino, and Anchor Bay.
