Jenna Knepper ‘21: The decision to hire a new Police Liaison creates a safer environment for all Romeo High School students and staff. Always ready to lend a helping hand, our new liaison, Deputy Labish, protects students and prevents any possible dangers.
“I start in the morning and drive around in the parking lot making sure no one is acting up, then I come in when the bell rings to greet students and staff,” Labish said.
Although getting a Police Liaison seems extreme to some, Deputy Labish spends his days keeping us safe.
“If anyone has issues, accidents, or if you just want to talk, you can come in and I’m here to listen and help,” Labish said.
As dangers become more of a reality in schools, Romeo stays safe and protected with the help of Deputy Labish.
