Brendan Arendts’ 21: The boy’s varsity golf team took part in the Macomb County Boys Golf Tournament over the weekend where they placed third out of around 25 teams. The team played the full 18 holes at Timberwood Golf Course in Ray Township while battling rough conditions of rain and cold temperatures. Tyler Czapski ‘19 played an outstanding round of golf that finished him off with a 78 over 18 holes.

Max Miller’ 21 said the conditions made playing really hard but he’s optimistic that the team’s moving in the right direction as they plan on making states.

“I hold myself to a high standard, so my round was disappointing but I’m glad the team is starting to click as the season winds down” Miller said.

The team now travels to Cherry Creek Golf Course on Tuesday, May 7, as they play the Eisenhower Eagles.
