Brendan Banach ’16: Leading the series 1-0, the baseball team  continued its winning ways against Warren Mott, dismantling Mott 15-0.

Zach Nies ‘16 went the distance pitching four scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and one hit.

Driving the ball over the field, the Bulldog’s offense clicked on all cylinders. Matt Staelgraeve ‘18 set the tone with three hits and four RBI’s. Jake petri ‘17 contributed two hits and Gavin Ganfield ‘17 also had two hits of his own.

“In warmups I knew I was going to have a good day pitching,” Nies said. “We beat them earlier this year and I knew it was up to me to lock down their lineup and keep building momentum.”

Playing Mott again tonight at Warren Mott High School, the team hopes to sweep their first MAC white opponent.
