Giulianelli ‘22: With every new year comes a fresh start for people. A chance to start over again with whatever your heart desires. 

A New Year’s resolution provides everyone an opportunity in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or certain behavior, accomplish a personal goal, or simply just improve your life at the start of the New Year. 

Carrying out a New Year’s resolution takes hard work and a lot of dedication. Trying to break those old habits or starting new ones bring many challenges. But Staying on the right track and focusing on your goal will make you successful in the end. 

“My new year’s resolution is to be more outgoing. I’m usually more shy, but this year I want to change that and become more social. I do a lot of social activities which definitely require me to be more out there and speak my mind. Each day I try to do something that can get me to my goal. It could be little things like just meeting new people, but sometimes it’s much bigger things, like going to audition for a role. I want to be more social and I know I can achieve it soon,” Megan Lackowski ‘24 said. 

“My new year’s resolution is to work on myself this year, making sure that I’m healthy and overall just having a healthy fun year,” Matthew Jackman ‘22 said.

“My new year’s resolution is to finish my senior year as strong as possible and to finish my golf season in the top 10 in the states,” Jack Stager ‘22 said.

“My new year’s resolution is to keep doing well in school. Since it’s my senior year, it’s really important for me to continue to do well as I have in the past. This is the final semester to determine class rankings, and I want to have the best possible chances. I do want to keep doing well throughout high school and as I go into college later this year,” Elise Kemp ‘22 said.
