Ryan Nawrocki ‘18: Julienne Ciacico ‘18 officially signed to Indiana Institution of Technology on Wednesday, February 7 to play soccer for the Warriors. Ciacico spent her days at Romeo playing center-mid and outside back for the team.

With her heart set on Indiana Tech, Ciacico can not wait to pursue her dreams through the school.

“I chose Indiana Tech because I loved the campus and the student body,” Ciacico said. “They put loads of effort into all their students and their soccer program and coaching staff is the icing on the cake. My gut feeling told me it was the school for me.”

Julienne made sure to note how much the Romeo Soccer program has done for her and helped her make it to where she is.

“Playing four years on Varsity for Romeo has really given me great exposure to a different type of play,” Ciacico said. “The coaching staff has always been so supportive and I have created bonds and friendships I will never forget.”

Ciacico joins Indiana Tech, coached by Jim Lipocky, with a 2017 record of 7-9-2. She hopes to hit the ground running and do all she can to make an impact on the 2018 season.

Ciacico’s future plans include earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering then coming back home and finishing her Masters at the University of Michigan.
