Nick Blankenburg 16’ – The Romeo high school hockey team has improved their record to 10-3-0 after beating Grand Blanc 9-2 Saturday night. Single goals coming from seniors Mitch Bidus and Billy Szlag, junior Luke Kaczor and sophomore Brett Lanski each had a goal, junior Logan Jenuwine had 2 goals, and leading the bulldogs Blake Gabler had a hat trick.

“It was a good game and I couldn’t have done it without the assists from Logan Jenuwine and Devin Present,” Blake Gabler said.

With the big win over Grand Blanc the Bulldogs remain ranked number 9 in Division II and now 22nd in the state, the highest rank the Bulldogs have ever acheived.

The Bulldogs next games are Friday the 16th against Detroit Country Day, and Saturday the 17th against Shrine in their cancer game. Both games are home so come and support the Bulldogs as they not only fight to win, but fight against cancer!
