Macy Manchester ‘18: As an alumnus of Romeo High School who graduated in 2015, Hannah Holliday continued her education at Michigan State University. Throughout high school, Holliday was always proactive, outgoing, and willing to take the lead in anything.

This year at MSU, Holliday is an active member of the sorority Gamma Phi Beta.

“I’m on my sororities eboard so I handle all of our administrative departments,” Holliday said. “And I also volunteer through my sorority with an organization called Girls on the Run!”

To go along with running a sorority and volunteering, Holiday also travels the United States with Gamma Phi Beta’s leadership team.

“Earlier this month my sorority’s leadership team went to Pittsburg for a conference so that was really fun to be apart of!” Holliday said.

During her time at Romeo High School, Holliday wrote for the Newspaper and Yearbook. Continuing her love for journalism, Holliday took a job at Big 10 Network as an intern.

“It’s marketing so I do promotions at games,” Holliday said. “And they also have a bigger marketing project that I work on.”

Deciding to attend Michigan State University was one of the best decisions Holliday made.

“I have had such a positive experience at MSU so far,” Holliday said. “I like my classes, my friends, and all the activities that I am involved in!”

If you are looking to attend a university, Holiday recommends being involved in Greek life because it completes the college experience.
