Tyler Holman ‘19: As the girls varsity golf season comes to a close, we look back at their very good season. With a team record of 5-3 but things look positive for next year as many talented young golfers improved their skills during the season.

“I feel like it was a very good year with a lot of good memories, but there is a lot of improvement needed for the young kids to really excel next year.” Karen Brown ‘19 said.

Brown performed extraordinary this season as she placed 31st out of 108 in the state finals. With all her success she helped mentor the younger team members and she also proved someone they could push themselves to beat.

Being her last year on the team, Brown looks forward to hearing how the team does next year.

“For my freshman year it was even better than I thought it would be,” Ella Schultz ‘22 said. “It was a lot of fun with my friends and I saw myself getting better and better as the year went on. I can’t wait for next year.”

With the loss of a great senior class, the Bulldogs look to improve on their skills to make a great run again next year.
