Adam Dix ‘18: After winning their season opener, the girls varsity basketball team continued their success on Friday, December 2nd, defeating Henry Ford, 47-43.

Starting off the first half, the Bulldogs had a hard time moving the ball and covering the Falcons, which helped the Falcons take the lead early.

Before starting the second half, the Bulldogs switched their defensive scheme to confuse Ford and swing the game into Romeo’s favor.

Olivia Medaugh ‘19, threw up 13 points, followed by Amber Flinn ‘18, who contributed 12. The girls new defensive strategy worked and put the Bulldogs on top, claiming victory over the falcons.

“We were down early but we never gave up,” Lindsay Weber ‘18 said. “We came back and played much stronger in the second half to win.”

On Tuesday night, the girls also defeated Port Huron 41-32, to move to 3-0 on year.

Tomorrow night, the lady Bulldogs take on Eisenhower at Romeo High School at 7:30 pm.
