Chase Arendts ‘17: Playing in the District finals against Port Huron Northern High School, varsity girls basketball lost 51-32 ending a long successful season. The girls finished one game above .500, with a final record of 12-11.

Starting slow, the Bulldogs faced a 16-4 Huskies lead after a quarter of play. After a long battle with the Port Huron Northern, Romeo was not able to surpass the lead and ended losing the the District title game.

Leading the girls,  Taylor Mueller ‘16 scored 11 points and Morgan Gardner ‘16 added nine points to the Bulldogs total.

“It is kind of surreal that we will never play a game together again,” Mueller said. “I’m going to miss the memories and the bond I’ve made with my teammates over the years.”

Sadly finishing their season on a low note, the team hopes for success in the future seasons, trying to keep advancing farther and farther into the playoffs with the coming years.
