Jenna Knepper ‘21: Another proud member of Romeo’s community, senior Danielle Denomme signs to attend Siena Heights University this fall! Getting ready to join their golf team, Danielle remarks on the many reasons why this university felt like home.
“I chose Siena because when I visited campus it felt home-like, all of the girls were so excited to meet me and started contacting me right away and it made me feel super welcome. The coaches are so nice and have been there for me and always call on me to check up,” Denomme said.
Already feeling the love from her future college, Denomme excitedly waits to play golf with her new team. Gifted with talent, Denomme discovered her golf abilities when she started playing less than 4 years ago.
“I started playing golf my sophomore year and tried out for the golf team not thinking I would even make it,” Denomme said.
Danielle made the team and continued that streak every year after becoming an extremely valuable member of the Romeo Girls Golf team. With big plans ahead of her, Denomme wishes to thank her Dad for everything he taught her throughout her golfing pursuits.
“My dad brought me to the range one day and taught me everything I know, he’s always pushing me to play batter and he was my first coach. He is always at all of my matches supporting me as well!” Denomme said.
Planning to study psychology and become a therapist or art therapist, Denomme remains excited for her bright future. Wishing her a big congratulations and a supportive good luck, Romeo High School sends off another amazing student to continue exciting academics and athletic pursuits in college.
