Adam Sebastian ‘19: Coming off a recent run of dominance from the boys and girls cross country teams, the focus now shifts to the Regional Championships on Saturday. After a week off from racing, the varsity runners participate again this weekend. According the the MHSAA rankings, the boys team currently ranks third in the Lower Peninsula Class A. The team competes alongside schools like Dakota High School, Eisenhower High School, and Utica High School among other teams from the area. The team looks forward to this opportunity to compete at the Regional Championships and hopes to continue this dominant streak of running.
“The recent success will carry over because we have been preparing very hard and we will keep rolling on,” Noah Mckay ‘19 said.
The next race takes place on Saturday, October 28 at Algonac High School. The girls race begins at 12:30 p.m. with the boys race following immediately after at 1:30 p.m.
