Josh Bilski ‘16- Bulldog Pride was displayed last night as the community lined the street to watch the annual Homecoming parade. It’s a great opportunity to get together as a community to welcome and praise Romeo’s football, dance, and cheer teams, as well as the high school’s band.

“I think it’s a cool little gathering that really brings together the community,” said varsity football player Kade Messner ‘17 who walked in the parade alongside his team.

The Homecoming parade shows the floats designed by each class in Romeo High School, and presents the Homecoming Court. Seniors Nick Blankenburg, Luke Kaczor, Anthony Quas, Paul Hurley, Andrew Medaugh, Alyssa Curtis, Emma Wilson, Nicole Dutcher, Sienna Falzetta and Taylor Mueller are all contestants for King and Queen. The winners will be revealed at the Homecoming game tomorrow night.

Coming together as a community is a reason Homecoming is so important. It brings together neighbors, friends, and family, all while spreading the love that comes with being part of the Romeo community.
