Kade Messner ‘17: Hoping to avenge their latest defeat, the girls soccer team beat Lakeland High School, 2-0 on Wednesday night. This win improved the team’s record to 4-1.

Scoring the goals for the girls, Michigan State soccer commit, Mya Fregoli ‘18 and Amber Flinn ‘18.

“Getting outplayed last game against L’Anse Creuse, I am happy to see how our team bounced back,” Carly Wilson ‘17 said. “We executed on defense and on offense, and when we play like this, opposed to last game, we can be scary good.”

In net for the team, goal tender Maddie Turley ‘18 made seven saves, picking up the win and the shutout.

Staying at home, the Bulldogs play Lamphere High School on Monday night at 6 pm.
