John Houbeck ’16: Traveling to Utica for the team’s first away game of the season, Romeo prevailed victorious, improving to 2-1 on the season.

The Bulldogs seeking to avenge an unfortunate 18 point loss to Lake Orion, got headed back in the right track. Romeo came on top, winning 53-43.

Paul Hurley ‘16 debuted in his first game this season after nursing a football injury, and led the team with 16 points. The point guard did a tremendous job of distributing the ball.

“It’s great to be back,” Hurley said. “It’s real hard watching a loss to Lake Orion like that. As a competitor I was anxious to get back and avenge that loss.”

Big man, Mitch Heimbuch ‘16, also played a good game after returning from injury, adding six points and 10 rebounds.

Looking to continue winning, Romeo takes on Mac White opponent Henry Ford. Henry Ford is coming off of a win against Eisenhower on Tuesday. The game takes place at Romeo High School at 7 p.m on Friday night.
