Justin McNulty ’20: Romeo Bowling capped off their 2018-19 season last Friday, February 22. The team competed in the MHSAA Bowling Regionals in both the team and singles competitions.
Unfortunately, despite their best effort, the team fell just shy of the top four and therefore failed to qualify for States.
Romeo’s season consisted of several up and down moments but overall they finished winning about half of their contests.
Seniors, Adam Lubinski ‘19 and Steven Malinowski ‘19 reflect back on their greatest memories taken away from the Romeo Bowling program.
“The team Regionals meet this past Friday, was one of the most memorable moments in my career because even though we did not place, everyone brought the energy and were just enjoying themselves and our last chance to bowl together,” Lubinski said.
“My favorite moment as a part of this program came during my Sophomore year, when we shot a ‘Baker 300’ as a team since it’s a spectacular feat to accomplish,” Malinowski added.
Thank you to the seniors for all their contributions to the program and congrats to all the bowlers on another great season.
