Cameron Kemp ‘19: The boys basketball team took a hike on Tuesday, December 13, to L’anse Creuse to take on the Lancers. The Bulldogs took a hard-fought loss, 73-57, after giving every bit of effort they had.
Led by Cole Harko ‘18 with 16 points, Blake McRae ‘19 with 12 points and Ryan Heimbuch ‘19 with 10 points, the team held up as well as they could.
“We made silly mistakes throughout the game, but in the end we tried to fight back but the hole was too deep to get out of,” Heimbuch ‘19 said.
This game put the boys record to 2-1.
Jared Czapski ‘18: The Bulldogs ended the week with a home game against the Anchor Bay Tars on Friday, December 15. The game started out like any other, both teams looking to get on the scoreboard first. Anchor Bay played the first point and their momentum only grew from there. The Bulldogs kept up, but not through the end.
“I don’t think we played very good at all,” Harko ‘18 said. “It was pretty much even the whole game, we were kind of just going through the motions.”
The Bulldogs left the court with a low scoring 55-42 loss. The team continues to prepare for their upcoming game on Tuesday, December 19, against Roseville High School.
